Payment & Cancellation Policy for Reservations based on the Standard Rate

For reservations based on the Standard/Flexible Rate, a prepayment of the 40% of the total amount is required. When the free cancellation period ends, the guest can choose one of the payment methods mentioned here.

If cancelled up to 21 days prior arrival no fees apply, and the guest receives a full refund.
For cancellations within 21 days prior arrival, all payments regarding the reservation will be considered a cancellation fee, and the guest will not be eligible for a refund.

Invoices will be issued at the time of check out, while for cancelled reservations that a cancellation fee applies, an invoice will be sent to the guests on the email provided at the time of reservation.

Payment & Cancellation Policy for Reservations based on the Non-Refundable Rate

For reservations based on the Non-Refundable Rate, a prepayment of the total amount is required. 

If a Non-Refundable Reservation is cancelled at any time, all payments regarding the reservation will be considered a cancellation fee, and the guest will not be eligible for a refund.

Invoices will be issued at the time of check out, while for cancelled reservations, an invoice will be sent to the guests on the email provided at the time of reservation.

No-Show

Important notice: If Sunshine Place World is not informed about a delay of arrival, availability will open and the reservation will be treated as a non-show.

In case of a no-show, all payments regarding the reservation will be considered a cancellation fee, and the guest will not be eligible for a refund.

Invoices will be issued on the next day, and will be sent to the guests on the email provided at the time of reservation.

Minors

Children are more than welcome to stay at the property but at least one parent or guardian has to be staying as well. Baby Cot is provided free of charge.

Even though Sunshine Place World LP and its hosts, are committed to the guests' best interest and experience, they take no responsibility for minors travelling alone.

In the event of the absence of parents or guardians, in order to proceed with the accommodation the following rules have to be followed;

1) children must be at least 16 years old

2) communication with parents or guardians is required

3) strong proof of relationship, approved by local authorities, is required to be sent through email to the property

4) a security deposit of 1.000,00€ is required, and will be refunded in case of no damage after check out

5) all guests phone numbers will have to be shared with the host

In case of no proof of relationship, and/or allowance, and/or damage deposit payment, the reservation will be treated as a no-show, and the booker will not be eligible for a refund.

If the damage deposit is paid but no proof of relationship, or/and allowance are provided, it will be refunded and the reservation will be treated as cancelled.

Damages

The accommodations are inspected carefully after every checkout. If a damage occurs and the guests do not mention it, Sunshine Place World LP reserves the right to charge the credit card provided at check in.

Lost or Forgotten Items

We do suggest our guests to double check before their departure. In the event of a lost/forgotten item, kindly let our host know as soon as possible. 

Lost & Found items remain in our possession for up to one month after checkout.

External Partnerships

Sunshine Place World LP collaborates with external partners in order to offer high quality services to its guests. In the event of a misunderstanding, or bad experience, kindly let our host know in order for further actions to be taken. Please keep in mind that no external partner is, or was, an employee of Sunshine Place World LP
